This week we have been learning about health and we have been reading food labels. We split into year 5 and 6 then we had to pick a partner. Then we went to Mr Todasco to get an empty food packet and we got given pop corn and here is our doc about the food label.

Is this healthy for me? Why? Yes because it is made from corn. Or because it has 0.1g sugar and you can have at least have 24g a day. So you could have it every day.

This is what we learnt
We learnt that people are sneaky because they put sugars in food and that is why food tastes nice. You might get a sore tummy after because your tummy is saying "Where do we put this food?" So that's why you eat healthy and make sure it's the right serving and with the per 100g you should at least have you sugars under 10g and if it is over 10g, it is a treat. With the sodium, it should be under 400mg but keep it as low as you can and with the fat total it needs to be under 10g.
